Remember back in the summer when I promised to update you with my vacation in Hong Kong?
I kind of forgot that, hehe.
I guess I’ll upload some photos entry by entry.

Chicago’s finest… toilet.
Hey, I managed to merge stupid EMMURE with toilet humour!
This was during our transition flight from Chicago to Hong Kong.
We had an hour left until our plane departs to HK.

Esther and I back at the Pearson Airport in Toronto.
We haven’t left for Hong Kong yet at the time of this photo being taken.
Yeah, the photos are not in sequence.

When the bitch, Esther, was still awake, she dared to take a photo of mama and I taking our naps on the flight to Hong Kong from Chicago.

The mall nearby poh poh’s place.
I call it the Jusco mall because the Jusco Supermarket’s there, hahaha.
I LOVE the chain, especially the one near my Uncle Paul’s apartment in Tseun Wan with cute accessories and jewelry!

As soon as mama, Esther, and I finished unpacking our luggage, the first place we headed to is dinner at Sceneway Garden with poh poh, Aunt Grace, and Uncle Eric to meet up with Uncle Paul and Aunt Serena.
It was the first time in eight years since we’ve seen Uncle Eric, Aunt Grace, Aunt Serena, and, of course, poh poh.
This is a shot of mam and poh poh walking together to Sceneway.

Our first traditional Cantonese dinner is at 8 Happiness.
Actually, it’s more of a Shanghai meal than it was a Canto meal.
Either way, Chinese food in HK is always better than anywhere else!

This is the only traditional Cantonese dish we had that night, hhaha.
Now that Day 1 in HK is over with, here comes Day 2.

OMG, how I regret not buying one.
I mean, if I rarely travel around the world, I should try everything because I might not the next time.
If only I could turn back time and buy a cake for the plate, hahah.
This was at the bakery at Sceneway.

The first HK styled breakfast a day after our arrival at Wui King restaurant.
This brings back childhood memories when my kindergarten chef makes me a bowl of macaroni and ham in chicken stock during high tea time.
Of course, how can I resist a cool glass of Ovaltine, especially if it’s made in Hong Kong, right?
Poh poh tends to visit Wui King once in a while for some lunch and breakfast at times, even though we told her not to go too often for her health safety.

The traditional Hong Kong Coca Cola logo is still standing today!
Obviously they don’t use the super classic one with just plain Chinese words on it, ahhah.
Such cute little cans in the photo.

The closest MTR (Mass Transit Railway) Station to my poh poh’s apartment is Lam Tin.
Unlike Toronto, everyday is frequent service for the trains and buses in HK.
It’s TOTALLY amazing there!
I’d love Toronto even more if they start being as cooperative as they do there.
It’s crazy how the pedestrians walk fast like crazy in and out of the subway.
Oh, the craziest thing in any MTR stations, though, are the speed of their escalators.
Fucking insane!
Makes the TTC or generally Toronto look like shit, hahaha.
We need to catch up to the rest of the world soon.

Without the aide of this baby, Esther and I would not have been able to travel by ourselves.

Mama, Esther, and I aren’t on the crummy nasty train we’ve been riding for over ten years.
Instead, we’re on something more advanced and cleaner!
It’s just that we’re riding with a bunch of Ching Chongs, hahaha.

Since our arrival there on the second day, we knew we had to go for dim sum with family members as a Cantonese tradition.
So on that day poh poh, mama, Uncle Paul, Aunt Serena, Esther, and I had our brunch there.
Cantos usually have dim sum before between 8AM to around 12PM or 1PM.
Yup, we’re table #153, hahaha.

Yea, dem bitches be lookin at me, mayne.
We went out for a walk and did some shopping.
I forgot where this was but it’s definitely not the busiest street in Hong Kong, Mong Kok.

Definitely not APM.
APM isn’t a cheen (Chinese teen) mall.
The interior in this mall, however, is very appealing.
Not to mention, you can easily catch a cold in HK malls from the high boost with their air conditioning.
Always bring a thing sweater or a windbreaker with you.

I think the reason why I didn’t try the burgers there because I strictly want an authentic Japanese mos burger!
Even my buddy from Kobe, Hide, told me so, ahhah.
Really, though.
What the hell was I thinking, right?
I know I won’t have the luxury to visit Japan anytime soon, but I DO have the chance to go back to HK next year.
In that case I won’t turn them down again this time.

A shop fit for Pook and only Pook.
It’s our very own Manchester United shop!
Papa told me that United are one of the soccer Gods to them, ahhhaa.
Oh, only us Ching Chongs would be this pathetic.

Poh Poh and I took this photo at the unknown mall.
Yup, it’s still remained unknown to me and even to Esther, ahhaha.

Once you really know what this size this Mcdonald’s cup is, you’ll be shocked.
Well, for those who live in the west side of the world because we’re used to this shit all our lives.
This is considered a small for North America and a medium for Hong Kong!
A fucking medium!
Which means a large to them is a medium to us.
Holy dayum!
I remember this was Esther’s drink because I didn’t dare to try any Mcdonald’s food outside of North America… for some reason.
Don’t worry, I did give in in the end.
Only for one day, though.

How Hong Kong has changed so much since my last visit eight years ago.
Megabox is the largest shopping centre in Hong Kong.
It figures it is considering the size of the land.
I’ll continue with Day 3 and so on the next free time I’ll have.
